Alien: Isolation Officially Announced by SEGA

“Alien: Isolation” has been officially announced SEGA. The first person survival-horror game was developed Creative Assembly and will be released in late 2014.

Set in a decommissioned trading station on the fringes of space, the game invokes the spirit of Ridley Scott’s classic 1979 film as players are tasked with avoiding the ruthless Xenomorph stalking the shadows. Players will be controlling Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda, as she fights her way through the space station.

“In Alien: Isolation, we have taken the series back to the roots of Ridley Scott’s 1979 movie, the original survival horror,” said Alistair Hope, creative lead at Creative Assembly. “Our Alien is a truly terrifying creature, as intelligent as he is hostile, relentless, brutal and unstoppable. This is the Alien game fans of the series have always wanted.”

“Alien: Isolation” will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
