Ryan Vaughn, the producer of the Sims series, has revealed some new details about the upcoming new Sims game, very creatively known as “The Sims 4.” Though, Vaughn really just explains what will not be in the game.
Liz Lemon will surely be happy about at least one aspect about this news release. According to Vaughn, the life stage also known as “Toddlers” will not be in the game anymore.
Also, Vaughn as announced something that is akin to BLASPHEMY. They have revealed that swimming pools will not longer be in the Sims. What fun is the game if we can’t lure a bunch of people to a pool party only to remove the ladders at the last-minute? WHAT KIND OF WORLD IS THIS?
Vaughn responded,
“While we recognize that some of you will be disappointed that pools and toddlers won’t be available when The Sims 4 Base Game launches in September, you should know that we’re building an incredibly strong foundation that is capable of fulfilling every one of your desires in the years to come.”
Who cares about toddlers (they just whine a lot, then they grow and we get to ship them off to school), we want our pools back. Fans are more than just “disappointed.” One fan went so far as to create a Change.org petition which already has over 5k signatures.
