The upcoming video game, “Dying Light” was announced at this year’s E3 and gamers have been intrigued ever since. This week, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and gaming developer Techland released a 12-minute long gameplay video for the upcoming zombie title.
“Dying Light” will have players exploring an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population. At night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Most frightening are the predators which only appear after sundown. Players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning’s first light.
Based on the gameplay footage, “Dying Light” looks particularly brutal and beautifully rendered.
The game will be released in 2014 for both the next-gen consoles, The Xbox One and Playstation 4, as well as for current consoles, he Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. You can watch the video below:
