“The Jeselnik Offensive” Canceled at Comedy Central

Comedy Central has official cancelled the “Jeselnik Offensive.” Is anyone upset about this or are too busy watching “@Midnight” like me? The news was confirmed by the network on Monday. The series, which has run for two seasons, was a topical talk show that was hosted by stand-up comic Anthony Jeselnik.

Jeselnik also recently completed a three-month, multicity comedy tour sponsored by the Viacom-owned cable network. During the final night of the tour, at the New York Comedy Festival, Jeselnik said from the stage that the series would not move forward and he had no future plans with the network.

Comedy Central also likely cancelled the faltering show after the immense success of the Chris Hardwick hosted show “@Midnight.”  which in its first week finished third among adults 18-49, trailing only The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report.
