“Community: The Complete Fifth Season” will officially release on DVD on August 5. After that? We have no more “Community” ever again.
In season 5, we got to experience the return of show creator Dan Harmon. It also had new cast member Jonathan Banks and the return of John Oliver, and it was amazing. On the flip side we lost Donald Glover (Troy) and Chevy Chase (Pierce.)
The DVD release will feature commentary on every episode along with bonus content that includes outtakes and two all-new featurettes.

- A 42 minute in-depth and intimate look into the writers’ room with creator Dan Harmon. The featurette documents Harmon as he writes two episodes in a very short amount of time, while managing his other duties as Showrunner, from attending rehearsals and reshoots to meeting with the crew on upcoming productions issues.
