Jack White is on his way to dominating the entertainment industry. The musician already has a record label called Third Man Records and he has announced plans to launch Third Man Books.
According to the website, Third Man Books will be “fearless, imaginative and eclectic.” It also reportedly hopes “to be a welcome addition to what is already a very compelling and thrilling independent American literary landscape.”
The first release under the publishing label will be a collection of poetry and prose that is accompanied with two vinyl records. It has works from musicians, authors, and poets. It was co-edited by poet/musician Chet Weise and Third Man co-founder Ben Swank.
The records will include as-yet-unheard material from musicians including William Tyler, Destruction Unit, Ken Vandermark and Paul “Wine” Jones.
You can get the collection in stores on August 5, or you can preorder it now.
