Karen Gillan’s new series on ABC, “Selfie,” has officially been cancelled. The network announced this week that it will not be ordering more episodes beyond the original 13 episode order.
The series starred Gillan, who is most known for previously starring in “Doctor Who” and last summer’s film Guardians of the Galaxy, and John Cho.
“Selfie” followed on the life of Eliza Dooley (Gillan), a woman obsessed with the idea of achieving fame through the use of social media platforms and seeks advisement from image guru Henry Higgs (Cho). Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Allyn Rachel and David Harewood also co-starred.
The series was created by Emily Kapnek who also executive produced alongside Julie Anne Robinson.
