As fans (kind of) patiently await the return of “The X-Files,” we get our first look at the return of the two leads, FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully played by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.
The show’s official Twitter account posted the first photo from the set of the revival showing our favorite duo. X-Files creator Chris Carter is also featured in the image taking a look at how the scene is playing out in the monitor.
Along with our two leads reprising their roles, Mitch Pileggi will return as Walter Skinner, and Joel McHale is set to guest star as a conservative internet news anchor who becomes an ally to Mulder.
“The X-Files” revival will return for 6 episodes. The first two being a two-night premiere beginning on Sunday, January 24 with the next episode following on Monday, January 25.
