If you don’t love a good noir film, you are missing out and probably someone I don’t want to hang out with. Therefore I am canceling our movie date to see the urban noir film, Silent Cry. The film starring Emily Woof and Douglas Henshall has been officially picked up Music Video Distribution for North America.
Silent Cry follows a young mother who refuses to believe that her newborn baby has died from cot death. After being told by a hospital worker that her baby was switched with a prostitute’s stillborn baby, she embarks on her own investigation for the truth in a seedy underworld of corruptions and murder in the medical world.
The film also stars Kevin Whately, Clive Russell, Frank Finlay, Craig Kelly and Steve Sweeney. It was written by Simon Lubert and directed by Julian Richard. Peter La Terriere and Tim Dennison produced. Kieth Hayley and Robert Bevan served as executive producers.
All other territories are represented for sales by Screen Media Ventures.
