The fourth and final season of “The Killing” is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix and according to The Hollywood Reporter three new actors have joined the cast in leading roles.
Sterling Beaumon, Levi Meaden, and Tyler Ross, will appear opposite Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman who will be reprising their roles as Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder, for the last six episodes of the former AMC series.
When the show picks back up, the new mystery will revolve around an all-boys military academy located outside of Seattle.
Beaumon will play Lincoln Knopf, a deeply troubled boy who wears his anger and instability on his sleeve. He has a specific hatred toward women — anger that seems as through it may erupt at any moment. Meaden has been cast as the charismatic and attractive A.J. Fielding, an overachieving student who thrives at the academy, where students and administrators regard him as a leader and success story. Ross will play Cameron Stansbury, the black sheep of his wealthy, well-connected family, and a gentle soul who has been battered most of his life by the competitive, dog-eat-dog world of Seattle’s best and brightest.
“The Killing” was picked up for the fourth season by Netflix to serve as a conclusion for the story. Netflix has promised a November release.
