Put Idris Elba in ALL THE THINGS! The sequel to Finding Nemo titled Finding Dory has added two actors from HBO’s “The Wire.” Idris Elba and Dominic West will be adding their voices to the animated feature from Disney•Pixar.
West commented on the new role in an interview with “Shortlist” earlier today.
“We’re both in the sequel to ‘Finding Nemo,’ so we were recording that.”
Finding Dory has an all star cast including the return of Ellen DeGeneres as the titular character. The rest of the voice cast includes Albert Brooks, Willem Dafoe, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy and Ty Burrell.
The story takes place about a year after the first film, and features returning favorites Marlin, Nemo and the Tank Gang, among others. Set in part along the California coastline, the story also welcomes a host of new characters, including a few who will prove to be a very important part of Dory’s life.
Finding Dory hits theaters on June 17, 2016.
