“Dying Light” will now release in January 2015 instead of February! The news was announced by Techland this morning via Twitter.

The new date comes after the highly anticipated horror game was actually pushed back to a later date. The developers had said that by pushing back the game they were ensuring “that we can fully realize our vision of an innovative open-world game. We won’t need to make compromises or trade-offs on any of the five platforms we’re working on. For you, it means an outstanding, original game that makes the wait more than worthwhile.”

However, now we get the game one month earlier than planned!

“Dying Light” is a first-person zombie survival horror finds the player scavenging for food, supplies, and weapons during the daylight to use after nightfall, when the infected population becomes more aggressive. The game will be available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 27.
