“Broad City,” one of the BEST comedies on television right now, has finally gotten a third season premiere date. Time to get excited. The series on Comedy Central stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson. It will return for a third season on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
Our favorite girls in the city will return for ten episodes right after Valentine’s Day which as a few other blogs have pointed out, sounds like it could mean a hilarious intro episode for us regarding Abbi and Ilana’s holiday of love. (Here’s hoping.)
Among the adventures we can expect in season three reportedly: “a trip to the DMV, a rat in the apartment, going clubbing, taking on new job responsibilities, visiting Abbi’s dad and new hook ups.”
The show was renewed for a third season just days before it’s season two premiere, and it will be interesting to see if Comedy Central repeats that show of confidence in next couple months. This is one of the more well-written shows about a friendship between 20-something females I have ever seen. So I hope it goes on even longer.
