While I am not a *huge* fan of the 3DS, (3D is difficult to enjoy when you have mole like vision that is akin to being blind) it’s hard to deny how awesome the piece of technology is. Oh and Animal Crossing exists on it which I couldn’t be happier about. There once was a time when we thought that movies based on video games were actually a good idea. We were excited at seeing our favorite heroes and characters on the big screen. Shigeru Miuamoto has always been one of my favorite games designers and chances are you respect him as much as I do, unless you hate the Mario and Legend of Zelda franchises. If that is the case, YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT SANE. Who doesn’t love at least one game from those franchises? Okay, that is a little harsh, though maybe you will change your mind with something new. The legendary game creator recently teased fans regarding a new franchise for 2014 (this could be his change to win you over!) However, he has yet to announce what this means and when we can expect answers.
It’s hard to believe that Nintendo lost its legal battle to take control of the trademarked domain name, WiiU.com. However, their official complaint filed with the World Intellectual Property Organization has been denied. WiiU.com right now is a placeholder page redirecting visitors to various links, some related to the Wii U, others not.
