Infamous: Second Son Collector’s Editions Announced

Sony announced the two limited edition versions of the video game, “Infamous: Second son.” The news was announced on a post on the PlayStation Blog revealing the Second Son Special Edition, as well as the Second Son Collector’s Edition.

The Special Edition includes Cole’s Legacy DLC. This addition is only being offered as part of the two limited editions. The DLC story reveals what happened between the climactic events of Infamous 2 and Second Son.

“Cole MacGrath’s actions in New Marais set in motion a chain of events leading to the now forceful occupation of Seattle by the oppressive Department of Unified Protection,” the blog entry explains. “Cole’s Legacy bridges this gap in time with a series of missions Delsin must complete, revealing unique insights into how the world of Infamous: Second Son came to be.”

Anyone who purchases the Special Edition will also get a Delsin Rowe beanie hat.

The Collector’s Edition comes with the Beanie and Cole’s Legacy DLC found in the Special Edition, but adds a denim vest cover for the game, an exclusive in-game vest, a set of badges and a collector’s coin. The US version of the Collector’s Edition comes with largely the same items, though lacks the denim vest cover for the game.

3 Reasons “The Last of Us” Could Be Game of the Year – Review

Naughty Dog, the game’s developer, is doing something right with this game from the storyline, the game mechanics, and the depth of detail that makes it a fucking masterpiece of gaming.  Continue reading 3 Reasons “The Last of Us” Could Be Game of the Year – Review
