Snoopy’s Holiday Celebration in Long Beach Benefit For Victims Of Hurricane Sandy

Snoopy Brings A Little Love To Long Beach

The lovable Peanuts Gang including Snoopy and Charlie Brown brought some holiday cheer to over a thousand residents of Long Beach, Long Island who were affected by Hurricane Sandy. 

The eventing provided events that helped families take their mind off their troubles as well as get into the christmas spirit. The events provided include:

  • Families received live mini trees which they decorated with ornaments and took home
  • movie screening of the famous Peanuts Christmas special, “;A Charlie Brown Christmas
  • Photo opps and meet and greets with the Peanuts characters including Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy and Linus, etc.
  • A “Decoration Station” where kids decorated cookies and colored Christmas and Chanukah holiday cards
  • Light holiday refreshments and treats including hot cocoa, chicken noodle soup, cookies, popcorn and more.
  • photo booth –  People took pictures with Snoopy and gang and had images instantly emailed, texted or tweeted to them
