Emily Kinney, the actress most known for playing Beth Greene on AMC’s “The Walking Dead” has officially joined the cast of Showtime’s “Masters of Sex.” According to reports from Variety, Kinney will join the show during it’s forthcoming third season.

Kinney will play the role of Nora, a self-assured and intelligent young woman who volunteers in one of the sex studies as a sex surrogate. Nora is also the next door neighbor to main character Dr. William Masters.

“Masters of Sex” stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson, respectively, a pair of pioneering researchers at the forefront of the sexual revolution of the ‘60s. It is based on the true tale of how the two scientists studied sex during that formative decade and the years afterward.

Along with being incredibly popular on “The Walking Dead,” Kinney has also appeared on “The Following,” The Flash,” The Good Wife,” and “Law & Order: SVU.” She also has a recurring role in the forthcoming second season of Cinemax’s The Knick.

Masters of Sex returns to Showtime at 10 p.m. EST on Sunday, July 12. You can watch the Season Three premiere for free here.
