My two favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas. And when it comes to Christmas, I LOVE Christmas and Holiday albums from my favorite bands. Earlier this week, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings announced that they will release their first ever holiday EP titled, It’s a Holiday Soul Party, on Oct. 30 via Daptone Records.
The holiday release will feature 11 tracks including classic tunes and original tunes from the band. It’s a Holiday Soul Party is available for pre-order on iTunes. , which includes two instant Grat tracks: new song “Big Bulbs” and their previous classic holiday number, “Ain’t No Chimney’s In The Projects.”
The album follows the band’s Grammy-nominated 2014 album Give The People What They Want.
