Games with Gold: “Might & Magic Clash of Heroes” and “Halo 3” Free in October

This October, the set of free games for includes “Might & Magic Clash of Heroes” and “Halo 3.” Starting Tuesday (October 1st) “Might & Magic Clash of Heroes” (Normally US $14.99) will be free for Xbox LIVE Gold members through October 15th. Beginning on October 16th, “Halo 3” will be free for Xbox Live Gold Members (Normally US $14.99).

State of Decay Has Steam Early Access Today (9/20)

Today, September 20, Steam users will get early access to the game, “State of Decay” for only $20. However, the early access does not mean the game is the final version. Undead Labs has warned that it may still crash and at the moment does not support keyboard and mouse input yet. This means players have to use an Xbox 360 controller or a compatible gamepad to play. Undead Labs WILL post keyboard interfaces in progress and use player feedback to perfect those before going live. PlayStation 4 Reported As “Noticeably Faster” Than Xbox One

According to the UK magazine, Edge, anonymous developer sources have reported that the PS4  is “noticeably faster” than the Xbox One in what they refer to as “key performance” areas. In the report, the sources state that the memory reads on the PS4 are about 40-50% faster than on the rival next-gen console. Microsoft Unboxes the Xbox One

Microsoft has officially revealed four new videos featuring the unboxing of their upcoming next-gen console, the Xbox One. The first video features Xbox’s Major Nelson unboxing the Day One edition of the Xbox One. The second gives you a closer look at the Chat Headset, which is included in the Day One edition and regular edition. It seems like Microsoft can’t scramble enough to get away from the sullied image after the PR nightmare that is the Xbox One reveal. In one of the movies to appease consumers, Microsoft confirmed that the new console will indeed had support for self-publishing developers. State of Decay Heading To PC This Year

State of Decay has been on everyone’s lips, especially those who are trying to fill the void in their hearts that occurs when you finished The Last Of Us. The  game from XBLA was a surprising hit that has already sold over a half million copies since launching in early June, 2013. Thankfully, PC gamers will get their chance to play it … sometime this year. The founder of Undead Labs, Jeff Strain, recently confirmed their plans to bring the open world zombie survival horror video game to PC as soon as possible this year during a recent lifestream.
