This Halloween, Screenvision is partnering up with Compass International Pictures and Trancas International Films to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the 1978 classic horror film, Halloween. To celebrate the milestone, theaters will be showing a series of Halloween films on the big screen.
The special theater showings will begin in October with the nationwide release of John Carpenter’s Halloween and continues through the month with Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers in select theaters. Each of these films will be presented in a striking, new HD transfer and 5.1 audio.

Halloween was first released in 1978 from John Carpenter and Debra hILL. The franchise focuses on the fictional character of Michael Myers who was committed to a sanitarium as a child for the murder of his older sister, Judith Myers. Fifteen years later, he escapes to stalk and kill the people of Haddonfield, Illinois while being chased by his former psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis. Michael’s killings occur on the holiday of Halloween, on which all of the films primarily take place. The films collectively grossed over $366 million at the box-office worldwide.
