I am not a risk taking person. I don’t like roller coasters and I don’t ever want to bungee jump. Horror movies gives me all the adrenaline I need. I love/hate being scared but I want to do it from the comfort of a unmoving chair/ couch/ bed/ loved ones arms. So I am pretty excited about the upcoming horror movie from IFC Midnight. Haunt has released its first trailer for its limited release on March 7th, 2014.
The film tells the story of a family that moves into a new home with a dark past. When their son becomes involved with a beautiful girl next door, and together they begin to explore their sexual awakening, they unwittingly invoke an alternative dimension of the house. It sounds sexy and terrifying, two of my favorite things. (what that says about my sexual nature, I don’t know.)
The screenplay for Haunt was written by Andrew Barrer while the film was directed by Mac Carter, It stars Danielle Chuchran, Liana Liberato, Harrison Gilbertson, Jacki Weaver and Jan Broberg.
