Jupiter Ascending Release Moved Up A Week

jupiterascendingarticle

I am probably far too excited for the upcoming Andy and Lana Wachowski science fiction film, Jupiter Ascending. So it is good news for that the film has been moved up a week in the box office. The movie was originally scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2014, but now that the new “Apes” project was moved up a week, Warner Bros. has fallen in line as well and moved Jupiter Ascending up to July 18, 2014.

The film follows Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), an unlucky Russian immigrant who cleans toilets for a living. She encounters Caine (Channing Tatum), an interplanetary warrior whom the Queen of the Universe sent to kill Jupiter. Caine tells Jupiter that the stars were pointing to an extraordinary event on the night she was born, and that her DNA could mark her as the universe’s next leader.

While the plot doesn’t sound amazing, the trailer LOOKS incredible. (Or maybe I just love all interplanetary science fiction tales) You can see it below.

Jupiter Ascending stars Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D’Arcy and Tim Pigott-Smith.
