With The Purge 2 well into production, Blumhouse has started teasing the upcoming sequel. Nothing fancy, but they did release one image featuring a countdown of sorts. You can see it above.
The original films writer, James DeMonaco is returning for the sequel while Frank Grillo, Michael K. Williams, Zach Gilford, Carmen Ejogo and Kiele Sanchez star.
Currently, there are very little details on the plot of the film. Whether the sequel takes place terrorizing another family or we get to see the bigger picture of the purge event on the country has yet to be revealed.
The Purge 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 20th, 2014.
