Whedon Says Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog Sequel Will Happen… Eventually

By on February 16, 2014

Joss Whedon is not deaf to the cries of fans wanting more “Dr. Horrible.” According to Jed Whedon, the co-writer behind “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog,” the plans are there but time at the moment is not.

Entertainment Weekly got a statement from Jed with regard to a sequel, who said, “We have many songs written and the plot outlined, but needless to say, we’ve been busy.”

The group behind the project has indeed been busy. Jed and his ice Maurissa Tancharoen are the show runners for “Marvel’s Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.” while Zack Whedon is working on the upcoming drama “The Red Hood.” Joss Whedon is currently working on directing the next Marvel installment, Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Jed at least comforted fans by adding that the Dr. Horrible sequel “will exist in some format or another.
