For a while it felt like an odd dream I had once, the film about something crazy (ghosts!) going on on an airplane. The film, also known as 7500 from Takashi Shimizu, was briefly advertised before disappearing into a Hollywood black hole where it has yet to be seen again.

It was three years ago that the film, which stars some well known actors, just seemed to completely fall off the radar. There were several rumored release dates but they turned into nothing. It was as if CBS films, the studio that owned the project, was going to let it collect dust forever.

BUT. It actually saw theatrical release. In Thailand apparently. Does this mean there could be a U.S. release date one day? Rumors are saying October but considering we have been burned before so I wouldn’t count on it.

7500 starred Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, Leslie Bibb, Nicky Whelan, and Alex Frost.
