FX has officially announced today that they will “not be moving forward with a third season of The Bridge.” The press statement was quick and sweet without anymore information as to why they will not be renewing the series.
“The Bridge” starred Diane Kruger and Demián Bichir as cops on opposite sides of the El Paso/Juárez boarder. Season two did end with some loose ends which seems will not get tied up for viewers.
It is likely the cancellation is due to low ratings in the second season which dipped when compared to the first season.
