Ann Perkins and Chris Traeger are returning to Pawnee! The final season of “Parks and Recreation” is happening (at some point) and it was announced that Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe would be returning for the final season for one episode.
The pregnant (later parents) and kind of engaged but fully committed couple left midway through Season 6 after deciding that Pawnee wasn’t the place they wanted to raise their family.
It was first hinted that the couple would return when executive producer Mike Schur told TVLine,
“We made a list of people that we needed to see back one more time. We didn’t get everybody we wanted, because some people had other obligations. But a lot of the people we were hoping to see one more time — we managed to make that happen.”
Currently there is no word on the officially premiere date for season 7 but it will consist of 13 episodes.
