Alec Baldwin Memoir Publishing in Fall 2016

Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin is not the best human being but what can I say, when I see him I only see Jack Donaghy and for that man I have a soft spot. For that reason, I will be reading his next memoir which is due to release in 2016.

The candid memoir will be written by Baldwin himself and is coming from Harper, an imprint of HarperCollins. According to the press release, the memoir will cover everything from Baldwin’s childhood in Long Island to his acclaimed work on 30 Rock as well as his unfortunate run-ins, fallings-out, scuffles and the arrests he’s gone through along the way.

“Alec Baldwin is a larger-than-life talent with an astonishing range. And his life up to now has been far from dull,” publisher Jonathan Burnham said in a statement, or understatement.

Baldwin has had a notoriously volatile behavior of the past decade between public rants and vulgar outbursts in public places. However, he never lets people forget he is actually a talented actor (with eyes like a Siberian husky) despite his public persona. His most recent major role was in Still Alice, playing the husband of Oscar-nominated Julianne Moore.

“This memoir will be funny, occasionally combative, often moving and an unbelievably good read,” Burnham promised.
