Jenny Slate, adorable human, has officially gotten a pilot for a television series at FX. According to Deadline, details about the plot of the show are remaining under wraps but what we do know is that the series will be written by Elisabeth Holm and Gillian Robespierre, who directed Slate in Obvious Child.

Slate recently starred in the independent film Obvious Child that was critically acclaimed. She also already stars in the television series “Married” with Judy Greer, Nat Faxon and Bret Gelman as Jess, a free-spirited woman married to a much older man.

She has previously appears in recurring roles as Mona Lisa in “Parks and Recreation” and Tammy in “Bob’s Burgers.” She has her own animated series that she voices called “Marcel the Shell.”

More details for her FX pilot are to follow but if it is anything on par with “Always Sunny” or “The League” than we can expect something magical.
