According to The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel Bruhl is in final negotiations to join Bad Robot’s upcoming sci-fi film, God Particle.
God Particle already has a confirmed cast of David Oyelowo, John Krasinski, Elizabeth Debicki, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
The film follows an American space station that, after an accident with a particle accelerator, suddenly finds that Earth has vanished altogether. Things get stranger when they then pick up traces of another space station nearby.
Bruhl has recently been seen in Captain America: Civil War as well as Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds.
God Particle will be directed by Julius Onah with an original script by Oren Uziel, the project was since rewritten by Doug Jung. The film is set for a February 24, 2017 release.
