According to an Xbox Official, the new Xbox One DVR will automatically record gameplay as achievements are unlocked. The Xbox Australia Product Manager commented on YouTube that while Xbox One players have the option to forego recording gameplay, the DVR will automatically capture the moment when achievements are unlocked.
The gameplay that is recorded then has an option to be shared. However, it has been announced that sharing on the Xbox One will be limited to Xbox Live at launch, and social sites such as YouTube or Facebook won’t be viable sharing outlets from the outset. Though it is reasonable to assume these updates will come eventually.
The Xbox One is scheduled for release across North America, several European markets, Australia and New Zealand on November 22, 2013 with later release in Japan and the remaining European markets in 2014.
