Dark Horse Comics has officially released the paperback version of “The Last of Us: American Dreams.” The graphic novel is set a short time before the events of the popular video game, The Last of Us created by Naughty Dog about a fungi-infected world. The companion graphic novel was co-written by Faith Erin Hicks and Neil Druckmann, while Hicks also provides the artwork for the comic.
“The Last of Us: American Dreams: follows Ellie and her best friend, a girl named Riley. Although Riley never appears in the game, the two girls’ friendship provides important context for Ellie’s behavior.
If you want to take a sneak peek, you can read the first six pages of the comic on the Dark Horse website.
