Netflix Confirms 4K Breaking Bad to Arrive By June

By on May 22, 2014

Netflix has officially announced that 4K streaming of “Breaking Bad” will happen sooner rather than later. The company confirmed that mega-hit show will begin streaming in 4K this June.

“Breaking Bad” has already been licensed to Netflix but the remastering of the series will include the 4K resolution and 5.1 surround sound.

The Netflix Original Series, “House of Cards” has already begun airing in 4K and the company also said that it will start shooting and airing all of its Original shows in 4K from now on.

Don’t worry, the 4K Streaming was added at no extra charge and can simply be viewed by anyone with a 4K TV new enough to decode the HEVC codec that Netflix streams its shows with.
