We finally know when we can make our way to Pandora’s moon and get the back story for Handsome Jack as “Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel” will release in North America on October 14 and internationally on the 17.
Oh, and don’t worry, gamers who pre-order the game do get bonus content by way of the “Shock Drop Slaughter Pit.” The content takes place in a former Dahl facility on Pandora’s moon. In it, players will battle enemies in zero atmospheric conditions as they gather loot for a brand new character, TR4-NU, a former military recruiter who went a bit crazy.
The game will be similar to the first two games on the franchise with drop-in, drop-out co-op play either online, or locally via split screen. And the loot. So much loot for you to hunt for. It will also have four new character classes, new vehicles, locations, and most excitedly, jet packs.
2K Australia’s Tony Lawrence, said,
“We can’t wait for fans to play as Athena, Wilhelm, Nisha and Claptrap and experience the new low-gravity gunplay with awesome new guns.”
“Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel” will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
