While fans are anxiously awaiting the release of “Batman: Arkham Origins,” they have been also wondering about the multiplayer options the game would have. After rumors began to make its rounds across the internet, and in response Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released a new trailer revealing the multiplayer mode called “Invisible Predator.”
In the multiplayer mode, players have several options. You can play as one of three Joker thugs, one of three Bane thugs, or as Batman and Robin. The two gangs will play the game in a third person shooter, attempting to destroy the other team and capture objective points on the map. Batman and Robin will spend the game trying to intimidate the enemy and force the gang bosses to retreat.
If you pick playing as Batman and Robin, you will have to pull off a variety of combos and takedown to intimidate enemies. However, if you get killed in the line of fire, the confidence of the gang will soar. The gangs also have the added bonus that after progressing to a certain point, their leaders will join the battlefield and players can assume control of The Joker and Bane.
The mode will also feature the ability to customize your characters to an extent and also unlock costumes and weapons.
The Invisible Predator mode will be available with the game at launch. “Batman: Arkham Origins” will be available for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 25, 2013.
