Sony has been teasing fans all week about their upcoming release and today it was announced that one of favorite video game duos will be returning. Sony officially revealed that Insomniac Games would be releasing Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus on the Playstation 3. Uh, yes please and thank you.
Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will be a new single-player epilogue to the previous games, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. The franchise has long been loved by gamers over the years for its story-intensive style combining humorous moments with heart-wrenching ones. The games take place in a science fiction setting and follow the adventures of the titular character Ratchet and Clank as they travel through the universe, saving it from evil forces on a regular basis. The games also include features that all gamers love: weapon upgrading, planet hopping, and tons of new worlds to explore.
Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will be (unfortunately for me) another PS3 exclusive game. It will be released this holiday season in stores and on the Playstation network for the MSRP of $29.99.
