A Song of Ice and Fire author, George R.R. Martin is not amused by those mere mortals who have such little faith in his writing prowess. yes, it’s true he isn’t Stephen King when it comes to pumping out novels but HE IS GOING TO FINISH THE SERIES PEOPLE!
The 65 year old writer has spent decades writing the famous series and fans are patiently awaiting the release of the last two novels in the series. But the author’s health is constant speculation that has led to assumptions that GRRM may die before the seventh book is complete.
GRRM, however, has two words for people who think he won’t live long enough to finish the last book: “Fuck you.”
He said in an interview with the Swiss newspaper Tagesanzeiger,
“I find that question pretty offensive, people speculating about my death and my health. So fuck you to those people.”
But fans of the series are quick to point out that they have experienced this exact scenario before (the late Robert Jordan devastated fans and left a series incomplete.)
But Martin is quick to remind you he is not your writing bitch so calm down everyone.
